Breh it's not about tik tok. The restrict act is a wide sweeping act that has such vague language it can literally be applied to anything, and anyone the commerce department deems as an adversary. Hell it's not even enforced by congress...It's enforced by the department of commerce. Not only that do we really want to start criminalizing people using apps? 250K fine if you use any app that's illegal, and don't dare use a VPN the fine goes up to 1 million, and/or 20 years in prison. How about we make parents accountable for the programs their children use instead of violating people's rights.

I think the hate comes from TikTok showcasing how much Gen Z & Y are such followers. People who use Reddit and thecoli for the most part are Millenials. Millenials still remember what it meant to have some amount of individualism, but with TikTok everybody is following everybody on some "If your friends jumped off a birdge, would you? YES!!!!!!!!"
