Facts. Plus the whole "6 for 6", "never lost in the Finals" argument is buffonery. It's always better to win than it is to lose, so a 6-3 record in the finals, for instance, is better than 6-0. Mans are acting like 6 for 6 in the finals means Jordan didn't lose in an earlier round or miss the playoffs in those seasons he didn't win the title. Imagine saying it's better to lose in the Eastern Final than it is to lose in the Final, and losing in the East Final makes you a better basketball player than losing in the Final...

You're right

MJ 6/15 - 40%
Magic 5/13 - 38%
Kobe 5/20 - 25%
Bron 3.5/20 - 18 %

MJ is the goat NBA player until a greater player comes along that the consensus

you gotta dominate in “your” era otherwise it’s all hypotheticals, y’all want Bron in the goat convo on some woulda coulda shyt
Every time you're shown LeBron dominated his era, you have no rebuttals. What is the criteria for dominance? From 2003-04 season to now:

•most championships? Bron with 4, tied with Steph for most of the last 21 years, next closest is 3 (Duncan)
•most championships as a #1? Bron with 4, no one else even has more than 2 in the last 21 years (Steph, Durant, Kobe, Duncan)
•most Finals appearances? Bron with 10, no one else has more than 6 in the last 21 years (Steph)
•most MVPs? Bron with 4, no one else has more than 2 in the last 21 years (Jokic, Giannis, Steph, Nash)
•most Top 5 MVP finishes? Bron with 14, no one else has more than 11 in the last 21 years (Kobe)
•most E/W conference finals appearances? Bron with 12, no one else has more than 6 (Steph, Durant, Duncan)

What other criteria do you have that illustrates dominance? By every single metric LeBron has been the most dominant player in basketball, and in most of these categories it's not even a close second, he's doubling up the next closest guy in most if these...

If he didn't play so long the dominance would be more apparent, some of you nikkas act like since he's plated forever he was never as great as he once was. There was clearly a time he was laps ahead of whoever the next best player in basketball was...

As it compares to Jordan, because his dominance doesn't look like Mike's yall degrade it, but both were the most dominant players of their era. Not even a question...

Yall like to play this longevity game but if you cut Bron's career off at 13 years (Mike's Bulls career) that would be 2003-16; if you cut Bron's career at 15 years (Mike's total career), that's 2003-18, and Bron would STILL be #1 in all these categories. He was the most dominant player in basketball before these extra years...

You're right

MJ 6/15 - 40%
Magic 5/13 - 38%
Kobe 5/20 - 25%
Bron 3.5/20 - 18 %

:leon:

That's cool. But the poor logic in the "no losses" argument remains and...
Russell: 11/13 - 84.6% :ohhh:

With that said, I do think Jordan is the best. I'm just not for ill logic.

If you rate players based off of winning, Jordan making it to the finals every year but still winning 6 (6-9) would have been more impressive than 6-0. Anyone who disagrees with that is an idiot.

It's bizarre people don't think LeBron was dominant. It's also disturbing that a lot of NBA fans are so polarized. It's like CACs and politics. They're so into one side that they can't even see any positives with another player. You can say Jordan is the best but still say LeBron was dominant and vice versa.

Jordan is the greatest. Because being the greatest isn't about your resume. It's about your story and the narrative and the legend around that, and the fans are a part of that process.

My uncle don't watch basketball anymore. He say, "I seen Jordan. I don't need to watch anyone else" :mjlol:

Best player? It's more objective.

GOAT? Give it up. Only one answer from this unbiased observer.

Again you can not be the goat with a finals record that poor (team hoppin) BTW. I could see it now, when the players coming next are inspired to chase a poor 3.5 finals record out of 23 years of playing :mjlol:. When bron is done you will see how history controls this narrative!! Have your opinions but the facts remain!!

So! Don’t care how you feel!
NBA chasing jordan
NFL chasing Brady
We didn’t make that up, History did it for us!
Don’t like it? He had the opportunity to do better than 3.5/23!

It’s funny now how yall want to ignore the finals argument when that’s the only argument he will have when done!!! We don’t care about fukking stats when your career is over! Karl Malone had more points than mj when it was done.. not one person brought that up when he finished playing. They brought up he never won one ahhahhahaha
