This explains why Labour is being very effective with their online game..

Bernie is going to be in the UK on June 3 :banderas:
Jeremy Corbyn hoping for Bernie Sanders election endorsement
"Jeremy Corbyn has said he is hoping for a last-minute endorsement from the US political maverick Bernie Sanders, whose campaign set the country’s presidential election alight in spite of the odds against him.

The unsuccessful challenger for the Democratic nomination in the US is due in the UK a few days before the general election on 8 June, and Momentum activists are hoping to obtain a Corbyn endorsement from him at an event in Bristol on 3 June.

In an interview with the Guardian, Corbyn said he had “a lot of time for Bernie”. Asked if Sanders would endorse him when he visited Britain, the Labour leader said: “I can’t say. I hope he will. I think he probably will, actually. But we mustn’t predict these things.”

The party leader added that members of the Sanders campaign team were already helping Labour, with others expected to arrive over the next few weeks. “We are in touch with Bernie’s team,” Corbyn said. “They are over here helping us. We also, during the leadership campaign, looked at a lot of their campaigning methods and again some people came over and and gave us advice.”

Corbyn didn't pull up any trees in the debate but he didn't really need to. May didn't even show and she tries to defend that by saying that Corbyn is "trying to get on the TV as much as possible whilst she fights for a good Brexit" :mjlol:

She knows she'd get served in a debate :camby: and she doesn't want those problems :hubie:

Paul Nuttall absolutely embarrassed himself, I didn't think it was possible to do worse than Rudd but he came across as completely out of step with the audience and was desperately trying to ride the populist wave.

Rudd looked like a lost puppy out there, she tried getting a few cheers with the Dianne Abbott jibe but fell flat on her face :mjlol:

Corbyn did what Corbyn does, came across as sincere and said the things that needed to be said:ehh:

The SNP bloke & Caroline Lucas were pretty good too

Farron probably had the best showing though I disagree with him politically :deadmanny:, he butchered May and Rudd - felt like I was watching a Comedy Central roast.:whew:

Anyone voting for May is a fool. Shook one.

I've already voted SNP but I'm pulling for Jeremy in England. He's the only labour man in my lifetime I'd be comfortable voting for.:salute:
It's 9 days. After the reelection of Cameron, I've felt lost. If labour can return, it will give me hope that their are sensible people around.

Sounding more and more like some sort of progressive alliance might be on the cards, so I'm not ready to neg you when Scotland stays Yellow and blocks a Labour majority in the house again..... yet. The Scottish shift did us up like a kipper last time, but Scottish Labour need to get with the times from what I've heard... still sounding pretty fukking New Labour up there.

Tbh, a coalition or voting agreement between English Labour, SNP, Plaid Cymru and the Greens sounds all kinds of good to me and the SNP are genuinely impressive (though I think a bit less now we're not comparing them to Milliband or Blair). I'd accept the Lib Dems getting involved if necessary, but I still want to throw them all off the nearest tower block really.

During the referendum you had labour MPs celebrating with tories and sharing a platform with them, and even now you have labour councillors forming coalitions with the tories to keep the SNP out. They turned their back on us first so we showed them the door. :yeshrug:

I want Corbyn to win but I can't vote Scottish labour. So I'm hoping for a coalition if need be.

Yeah, it's fukking minging... I'd probably do the same in your shoes.:francis:

Doesn't sound much better in Wales either.

Fingers crossed Jezza can stick around long enough to bring them all back to heel.

Terrible campaign. And she's coming off as weak, unauthentic.

And then she ducks debating and now this

Yup. Pretty shameful May made that woman go out there instead of herself.

May got flamed at the debate from the clips I saw
