And the only problem i have about tithing is the 10%. That's a mighty hefty percentage.
My homeboy started going to church when he got out of high school. He had a job where he brought home about $350 a week and he would tithe $35 each Sunday. He began working overtime and started bringing home $500 a week. He continued tithing $35. The pastor's son worked at the same job my homeboy did, so the pastor knew my homeboy was clockin' OT. One Sunday after service, the pastor pulled my homie to the side and said "I know you've been working OT. How come you are still tithing $35? Don't rob God, son."
I would've cussed that muthafukka out.

I agree. The rare occasions that I do attend I like the message and most of the people.I don't have a problem with religion. But, I do have problem with organized religion in its current form in the Black community.
