Take intersectionalist feminism for example. Countless examples of white women leaving black feminists to dry and only helping them when it's to attack black men.
Unless there is another form of intersectionality I am unaware of.
I didn't see anyone address your post so I thought I would.
One of the reasons intersectionality was created because feminism failed to address the issues of black women (and other women of color).
Hell, some [white] feminists were advocating for their male counterparts to give white women, and only white women, the right to vote to offset and overwhelm black men having the right to vote legally. It'd be 2:1 and they already had the majority, so it would leave the black community even more powerless.
Obviously there are still problems that persist today, including the example you gave. However, black women (and other women of color) aren't at the mercy of their white counterparts like they have been in the past.
IIRC, another black woman created Womanism as a parallel and breakaway from feminism because of the issues with white feminism and white women in general.
