If everyone who resigned doesn't use the time off and money saved to start their own Small business, investments, or side hustle.... then this was all a waste of time

I just requested 25 a hour at a job that starts at 18 per hour, they said yes.
However, they told me to NEVER mention my pay rate to anyone or my job could be at risk

I guess they would like to continue to be able to pay people 18 who don't ask for more at hiring.
I think I'm gonna take this job, Comcast never called me back after requesting 21$ a hour, so fukk them

Make these people as uncomfortable as possible. Make them scramble to find workers.
And that's just because of everything you listed. The "gung ho" attitude of American workers should have stopped long ago. People working through their breaks/lunches, spending more time at work than at home, etc.
My last job required you to put PTO time in TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE
I'm goin' to vegas at the end of next month. Put my request in 2 weeks ago. Regardless if it is approved or not, I'm still goin'I put in a request at my job 4 MONTHS in advance for PTO to visit my homies in ATL
When I opened my app to see that shyt with a red mark saying denied
Decided right then I'm going on that vacation regardless,stopped answering their texts & now I'm transitioning fields happier than ever
We cant even carry our days over to the next year, so our only 2 options are to use them or cash them out. I'm not cashing out shyt. I'm using ALL of my days. I'll still have 9 days PTO remaining after Vegas.

Pizza parties will always be a negative experience for me ever since my last job. It was a damn near blizzard in New York and they wanted me to come in cause the trains were still "running". I look around and only 10 people showed up out of 30, my manager then later the day talking about thank you and he needed me. They threw 10 of us a pizza party instead of giving us raises the next day tf.
Same shyt happened when we had to work through the peak of the pandemic. Instead of giving us a raise for potentially risking our lives, we got a free corporate hat.
I did this and don't regret it. I saved up my money and I quit at the start of this year with no backup plan
I been winging it all year, but I will finally be attending a tech bootcamp in Jan 2022.
How many realistic saved up money though? We saw through the pandemic, majority of people don’t even have 2 months worth of bills saved up.
Let's see how these folks will be looking in 6 months.
