So what’s the purpose of the rule then...why can’t the NCAA just let the player come back to school. Why do they have to be with a “qualified” agent to come back.

The bigger issue is the 3year registered thing...so my people would have to register 3 years before when I’m a junior in highschool. It’s obvious designed to stop family member and friends from being agents. Period. Why punish a kid because of who represents them..that’s the fukked up part. And yea they aiming at people who has aspirations of being the next rich Paul. I guess they just not trying to process all them highschool players that go undrafted for the hell of it when they have a bogus agent. Idk

If the NCAA is taking back the players who go undrafted anyway why not let them have whoever their agent.

I’m just saying what’s the purpose of the rule since last year anybody could come back but now just certain agents clients..(edit not just anybody you have to be invited to the combine to be eligible to come back to school)

I said what’s the point because the only players that could come back was players that was invited to the nba combine so the pool of players potentially affected by this is smaller and better rated than I thought.

The case would get tossed with the quickness. Anti-trust cases against the NCAA dont make it, excluding the o'Bannon case. Secondly, this rule isnt a breach of anti-trust rules. If that were the case all leagues would have issues with their certification process. Requiring a bachelor's degree and certification is unlikely to stop anyone other than family members and sketchy "handlers". Third, this would only be valid if rich Paul was banned from signing players, he isnt. The NCAA isnt weeding him out. He doesnt have standing. Case dismissed.
