Their savings will be a lot more. Your tax is now your premium, and all working people share into it, which will make it far lower than collective premiums. No more having to try to itemize it or worry about an insurance mandate tax. It's not that hard to understand, if people don't cede to selfish viseral reactions. We're removing the insurance companies from the game.

European nations are doing this with no problem with only a 3rd of our population.

This is nothing but ignorant bullshyt.

I'm sure you've never actually done any research into this nonsense before making this asinine claim.

fukk this bullshyt. The far left fools that support Bernie live in nothing but a fantasy land. I expect once healthcare and tuition are free, expect rates of both to skyrocket. Expect the 15 trillion tax increase to become 20 trillion. Raising taxes to obscene levels does nothing but constrain the economy and inhibit growth. Plus with the constant stream of illegals any such system will eventually collapse due to the constant increase in people.

This shyt is nothing but unrealistic nonsense designed to gain votes.

At then end of the day you can make all the math work in favor of higher taxes on the middle class, but people don't want to be told what to do with their money. It's human nature to have choice in our lives. I'm sure you can tax the middle class more and if you spend it on the right things you can eek out more efficiency from the economy, but the vast majority of people simply don't want that. People shouldn't have to listen to a few authoritarians who in the end probably just want these taxes so there's more benefits for themselves.

No one will ever win the Presidency when they can be attacked with such an easy line like "He wants to raise taxes by $15 trillion dollars"...voters are swayed by attack lines and slogans more than anything and tax increases are a tried and true hammer to bludgeon your opponent with.

Especially when they're on the middle class.

didnt bernie himself say he wanted to propose 15 trillion to earn?

lets do the math!

15,000,000,000,000 <--- 15 TriLLION

there are 318.9 million people in america

318,900,000 <----318.9 milion

if we divide them, EACH PERSON has $47,000 to pay out to his proposal.

BUT!

not all 318.9 million people in america pay taxes or is of age to.

so how is he gonna get his $$$ to meet his 15 trillion dollar gain he is proposing during his presidency of socialism? :jbhmm:

i think my extra $4000 a year IM GONNA HAVE TO PAY was correct.

:shaq2:

maybe even more.

None of this matters, this tax increase would get like 3 votes in the House and 0 in the senate.

if none of this matters, then why is he playing this card?
you wanna do all these good things but yet propose this bullshyt to scare certain people away?
he cant be that dumb

It's because he's honest and this is what he actually wants to do. It's not a political card for him.

You think this would get more then 3 votes in Congress?

well, real bosses move in silence.
he shouldve proposed raising taxes AFTER getting into office.
my opinion.
he ruined his road to the white house with this. $47,000 to the rich is NOTHING... but $47,000 to a middle class is something.
and the rich wont be paying $47,000 into it,... itll be WAY more.

hes an idiot to show this card so soon. he lost the game

We also need to keep in mind that this isn't from Sanders himself it's an analysis. So while everything might be true we'll have to hear him confirm somethings on his site or on the trail.

This country was founded by a bunch of guys who didnt want to pay taxes. Its a very American attitude.

I don't care where or who the money helps. Most middle class people wont think of it that way and will only think of their bottom line. I totally get it.

Raising taxes anywhere below the top 10% of earners is a non-starter for most people. I'm not necessarily saying I agree, but it that's the way it is. :yeshrug:
