JID, Larry June, Curren$y, WDNG CRSHRS, Vince Staples, Nudy, Chris Crack, Babyface Ray, MIKE,, all put out great projects in 2022, and that’s just scrolling through my recently played.

It definitely feels different from that 2013-2019 space though. ‘SoundCloud rap’ was kinda garbage but the SoundCloud era birthed a lot of great artists and innovation. A lot of the opp pack music today just doesn’t sit right with my soul but I’m not 23 anymore it isn’t for me to decide

All dropped GREAT projects last year. Hell even Drake managed to drop a quality album with Her Loss. And thats not to mention all the quality underground artists like Billy Woods who dropped good projects.
