Even athletes used to make being 30 feel old as fukk, like Drexler left Portland at 32 and felt old as fukk :mjlol:

That's like Giannis leaving today. But back then you were like damn he's still going at his age :whew:

Nate Thurmond at 25 looked older than most of today's ex pros doing commentary :mjlol:

Yeah I’m a home owner also and IMO it’s easier to get a high paying job now as opposed to the 70’s and 80’s. You must not be Black, I’m talking about Black people, not America.
Ya it’s easier for black people but not anyone else :mjlol:

Looking at pics of my mom and dad back then I said the same thing.

It’s like you had to be grown/more mature earlier back then. Has society babied us or has things just gotten more lax?:jbhmm:

It was like once you hit 30 life got real serious. Now, at 30 you’re less mature than back then. Interesting…
34 in the 80's meant you had been married for like 8-14 years with 2-5 kids, a mortgage, and a career underway. 34 today means you could've just finished grad school 3-4 years ago, still partying, maybe coupled up but it's just yall two living your best life with a dog...just not the same gravity of responsibility on a lot of 30-somethings the way it was for them

Facts. And some people used to get their license the day they turned 16. Now at age 25, you can get a PAWG to drive you around as long as you blow her back out. I remember JuJu Smith Schuster got his license while he was playing in the NFL (rookie or second year)

Blame the individual. It’s way easier to attain a lot of money and a home now, compared to back then as a Black 30 year old man.

This is literally, statistically untrue. And I say this as a home owner. Regardless of race. Homes cost between 55% and 80% more than they did in 1983. But wages didn't increase by 55% to 80%.

You're just talking out of your ass.
