Ultimately they are coming from a good place, they want to see you do well. My mom bothers me about going to church all the time, I'll listen to her talk and continue to do me. Sometimes also they just want to talk, old people love doing that. You know how many random old people I've had conversations with? He's right , I talk to my grandmother all the time and its too late for them. They are the reason the community is so fukk ed up now. They all say go get a job, and completely ignore white supremacy. Blame the state of the community on people who got their skulls cracked open just for speaking up brehs

when I was a kid, I remember seeing businesses all up the roads. All kinds of restaurants, clothing stores, dry cleaning places. Stores my grandmother worked at when she was my age. Now they are all gone, because the black men who owned them sold the businesses and left. To me its there generation that caused the most damage because they left nothing to past down to us, which is the only reason whites are ahead. they have old money. And not only that, they gave us that same old turn the other cheek keep working hard, dont give the police a reason attitude, that has gotten me fcked up in life. I use to apply at every gamestop in the city, and wondered why I never got called for a interview not even once. My grandmother use to tell me * claim that job, keep trying * I didnt find out until a few years ago that I never got in because the gamestops were in the mexican and white neighborhoods, and they only hired... MEXICANS AND WHITES. Even until this day. We need reality from our elders in the community, and they failed us. imo

On social media I see a growing consensus of smart dumb pseudo nikkaologist that graduated from the school of foolishness preaching that no school shyt. Shytting on people with good careers and degrees and dont have two nickels to rub together. An education is still the best way for a young black man or sister to escape poverty. Im not saying dont ever become a entreprenuer. But you have to crawl before you walk first. A pay check is still your biggest asset. I would rather work on my goals and dreams on.the side while getting paid 60-70k a year than sleep on my moms couch working the night shift at walmart distribution talking smack like on social media. My grandfather got an ivy league education and went on to become the first black president of a bank in my city and is now a multi millionare that also marched side by side with king and hung out with malcolm on a regular basis. Yeah. I would rather take his advice anyday than some smart dumb nikkaologist on a message board.
