Technically, Thor shouldn't last two panels with Surfer but they dont have Surfer use his powers like a Magneto or Thanos do...they outthink everybody in their fights. If superman can easily beat thor, and batman beats superman, then clearly batman can beat thor too. Context be damned.He was also bested by Captain America and Wolverine but you and me both know Storm could best the both of them easily.

The fukk? Galactus is on an entirely different level than Surfer and Thor. He’s able to create beings far stronger than both of them (Tyrant) so he gave Surfer more access to the Power Cosmic so it amped him up and Thor was weakened at the time.
Galactus is also stronger than Odin.
None of this changes the fact that Thor, on average, is stronger than SS. They’re on the same tier of power (Below Skyfathers) but Thor is a better fighter and can counter most of SS’s attacks.
Stronger? Nah..Surfer can stop any threat on earth with a wave of his hand..Thor be fighting the Hulk for like two whole issues and Surfer sucked the gamma radiation out of Hulk after laughing off his rants. And? There are still plenty of scans showing Thor as stronger than all those people and there’s more proof that Thor is stronger than not. Cry more.

Thor has multiple feats of swinging his hammer multiple times faster than light. Surfer isn’t too fast for him.
Thor also has one of the most diverse power sets around. Matter manipulation, teleporting, absorbing any kind of energy, returning energy, etc.
Thor has loads of stupid powers.
So they were even right? Because even though Surfer had a power boost he was still holding back in that scan. You say Thor is stronger than Surfer but he was limited in this fight. The combination of Surfer being limited by morales and Thor being limited by stamina evened the playing field right?
Thor can drain Hulk too but he actually likes fighting the Hulk to test his physical strength.
Y’all seem to not understand that Thor HOLDS BACK ON EARTH AND AGAINST MORTALS. Thor, on his solo series, or when he’s in space uses his other powers far more and holds back less.
Stop using Thor on Earth as your basis of his strength. He holds back all the time and then he gets into space where he’s cracking entire planets with the force of his blows.
He also has feats where he cant even touch street level opponents with his "faster than light" hammer swinging.

Yes, in SS’s best showing against Thor, he was powered up by Galactus while Thor was weakened. He still didn’t win.
When both of them are at their normal state, Thor tends to show himself as superior and has more wins. What about this are you not getting?
