I agree. Bone had a way bigger impact (as did other groups) when they came onto the scene initially.

It's funny you say that because somewhere in here I mentioned the youngins either unknowingly being influenced or consciously being influenced.

We've also got to place an emphasis on these young producers who've really added to the foundation Juice & Paul laid. These producers are almost equally saught after (if not more) than the rappers

Im willing to bet you more of the producers will tell you they're influenced (a lot of them have worked the juice during his latest resurgence)
I agree on with you about the producers

You've got to start another thread. Woodie and Speedy were huge. I don't think their sound laid the foundation for anything going on today on a mainstream scale overall.
Woodie influenced alot of latino Nor Cal rap, alot of his style can still be heard today in rappers like Yantz, In$ane, Sneaks, and so on. Dunno about Speedy tho he did leave a legacy for uniting nikkas in the East Bay with his Stars the Limit label.

the Darkroom Stuff I posted earlier did have a direct mainstream impact, proving that spanish gangster rap can sell in america.

I'm in my early 30s and last summer me and one of my boys (Same age) started bumping that Travis Scott album on the way to the gym

The record with Quavo (Dis Side/Oh My) is juicy/paul 2016...

That beat switch is :wow:

When the Smoke Clear/Choices/Da Unbreakables/Most Known Unknown still Go HAM:whew:

...and, Juicy J & DJ Paul's Willie Hutch samples makes the cypher complete:ahh:

Lowkey, Scarecrow:rip: had BARZ, tho:huhldup:

Timeless.

Timeless hip hop music.

It's like their music hasn't aged and hits you the same way it did 13-14 years ago :wow:

Agree with this bigtime, cause for the past few years as far as newer rapper go, had it not been for the producers, I would have never checked for them (21 Savage and Chief Keef are prime examples)

Also, E-40 may be a better rapper than most if not all Three 6 members, but I don't know anyone who bought any E-40 albums past 2002. B-Legit and D-Shot probably haven't bought them. Koopsta >>> E-40, Lord Infamous >>> E-40, and since 2009 at the very least, Juicy J >>> E-40

they came at a time when bone had the dark beat/double-time chit POPPIN. another reason why yall are giving 3-6 way too much credit.
So did somebody steal that from somebody else? Has that ever been established? Or were they just doing the same kind of shyt not knowing about each other?

Actually he's been cranking out albums at a rapid rate for the past few years. He's got his loyal audience in the Bay and he keeps them fed. And he's managed to come with hits and keep himself relevant the past few years as well.

He's released 12 solo albums, a double album with Too Short and an EP since 2010 :whoo:

This fakkit..still won't address the actual question. Looks like I have a new target to play with on here.

what are you asking the question for? you havnt said chit in this thread, and then you come out the blue asking my age, approaching me like some dikkhead. FOH.

and everybody knows my age on here anyway, so its not like I'm duckin ya dumbass. you just need to learn how to approach people with some sense.

and lol @ "new target". I would dance circles around you. lol. youre a peon to me.

Yeah I caught that.
@SUBZ :francis:

that's his 2nd or 3rd time doing that in this thread too.

when it gets like that, these dudes just need to throw in the white flag.

what do they have to gain by getting away with giving fake props to a group that doesn't even know about their existence? I could see if they seriously thought they were correct with their claims, but obviously they know theyre full of chit. so whats the point?

How do you differentiate between criticism and standards and elitism?

apparently, I'm supposed to be an elitist, even tho i got a collection of 3-6 mafia stuff, RETAIL.
