one game overreactions are the best :russ:

now all of a sudden oladipo is some fringe all star player?

this nikka got traded by garbage ass orlando team, they decided to keep payton and the rest by trading him for ibaka, that just shows that maybe this kid couldnt live up to his potential maybe???

I wouldn't use the competence of the Orlando front office as the crux of my argument:skip:

Using Orlando's moves as confirmation of what a player is, is foolish. They gave away Tobias Harris and Channing Frye for nothing. They have no idea what they're doing.

Oladipo has potential and is being marginalized by playing with RWB. Like someone said above they're way too similar and not a good match.

This is a one game reaction but for me it's confirmation of what I thought all year about this supporting cast.

Thunder were picked by many to make the offs even without Durant. They aren't trash.
Rockets overachieved big time based on predictions.

that's why the beard should get MVP to me and that's not even a slight to Russ.

yeah, but the media already made up their mind to go against their criteria of what mvp was for decades to manufacture the mvp for westbrook.

we saw kobe lose an mvp in 2005-06 when he averaged 35 ppg simply because his team only won 45 games now they're going completely against that.

now they're overrating the shyt out of harden's teammates while underrating westbrook's teammates to fit this narrative that he's "carrying" d-leaguers to the playoffs.

it is what it is :yeshrug:

Is that really a good defense? Kevin Love and Kyrie are just sidekicks because they never saw a playoff appearance till Lebron came around?
But Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love have seen All-Star selections and have averaged 20-25+ PPG (between the ages of 20-25 btw, Oladipo is 24 as is Kyrie) before even getting teamed up with Lebron.

Not saying Oladipo doesn't have the capability of doing so, but he hasn't even shown it yet even before having the "restraints" that is Russell Westbrook.

Russell Westbrook isn't playing with "scrubs," they're just less than the other playoff contenders in the seeds above and even below him.

who made this list? Some guy named jake brown?

the rockets were rated so low because they quit on 2015-2016 season and not many people expected d'antoni to coah that offense so well. Them rockets looked not interested in basketball till they got rid of dwight howard. James Harden obviously did improve a lot but so did D'Antoni help this team a lot. They picked perfect players for his system, now its time for the playoffs to show how legit they are

Meanwhile Wesbrook's supporting cast is very poor for this era of basketball where you need shooters in order to be a dangerous team. Their 3 point shooting is nowhere near elite

You from OKC b, relax. The point was that most publications, and even Vegas, had OKC being better than Houston. That's all.

I am not mad or something. Why should I relax I was just discussing it. I dont understand how people had okc thunder finishing higher than rockets. Houston had a better pieces for the system to work well. I am looking at that okc team and I dont see anything special outside of westbrook. That enes kanter dude plays no defense at all, they got this robertson guy who is one of the worst free throw shooters in the league. I am guessing that when KD and westbrook played together on the team those role players looked good because all they had to do was playing their role. Now when KD is gone they have to step their game up and they are not too good for that
