That was a flat out awful trade. The thunder were somewhat competitive with the heat in the finals last year. If harden plays well, they have a shot to win that series. Harden is too good to have another awful finals like that. Give that core 3 a few more years to get better and they're going to eventually beat the heat, maybe not this year but certainly within the next 3 years. You can find a guy that blocks shots and plays good help defense to come close to what ibaka gives you. You can't find a guy to give you close to what harden gives you...also, Kevin Martin is awful and those picks are going to be role players at best and non-factors at worst. Thunder really fukked up with that trade.

they have Toronto's lottery pick and Jeremy Lamb. They will probably draft a Center to eventually replace Perkins... and there's a lot of Centers in this draft.

Too early to tell if the team is screwed but they have assets

They have Perry Jones, if brooks wasnt such a dumbass he woulda been getting minutes all year to develop into something. He might still become a decent center (which is all you need at that position nowadays).

On another note, how realistic would it be for presti to trade both their #1s this year for a 2014 lottery? Just something I thought about a couple days ago. Doubt anyone would do it but theres some dumb gms out there

Perry Jones isn't a Center :dwillhuh:

He's a tweener SF/PF.

Exactly...its like the Heat releasing Chris Bosh to keep Udonis Haslem or some shyt :snoop:

Keep the main three intact, fill the rest of the team with whatever.
