I like Tical 2000 more than Tical. What do i know![]()
Lyrically, he stepped his game up on Tical 2000. Production wise Tical is better. But I feel where you coming from. Tical 2000 in retrospect won't a bad album at all.

to this day i dont really mess with Tical too heavy at all. it just never hit to me like a lot of the other wu albums. always liked tical 2000 more for some reason. didnt prefer 8000 skits though.Lyrically, he stepped his game up on Tical 2000. What's crazy is Meth, if he handled his career right and didn't fukk up those solos, could've been the biggest rapper of all-time.
It's crazy to think how Method Man in the 90s was on the same tier as Pac, Big, and Snoop. His sound just didn't translate well post 2000.
I'm not quite sure what he was going for musically by then. He wasn't quite as animated as some of his frequent collaborators (Redman, Busta). He wasn't as lyrical as Nas or Ghostface. He wasn't walking the balance between the streets and pop charts like Jay, 50, Ja Rule, etc.
By the 2000s Method Man was just...there.
i stand by my argument that Method Man & Redman ruined eachother....great duo but overall the second they met both of their careers ended and could not reach their potentials. What's crazy is Meth, if he handled his career right and didn't fukk up those solos, could've been the biggest rapper of all-time.
