At the end of the day, If people thought Tidal was a worthwhile service relative to the price they would subscribe. End of story.
Samsung and Apple been throwing shots at each other and launching BLATANT "smear campaigns" against each other for YEARS, and it hasn't stopped a single person who wanted a Samsung from buying a Samsung or a single person who wanted an Apple product from buying an Apple product.
When Twitter first launched it was met with a barrage of negative press and articles.. yet here it is now, because people found it useful.
Yall can try to make this about everything else, but no one is stopping anyone from signing up for Tidal if they wanted to do so. All the negative press in the world wouldn't stop someone from subscribing who truly felt this product was superior and worth the cost.
Tech businesses fail everyday. Especially ones with ill conceived businesses models and marketing plans. Tidal didn't launch quietly so why should their failure be quiet?
failure? its been like 43 days....No tech company flies out the gate...
people need to realize, it can only get bigger, jay owns artists,im actually surprised it took him this long ...
as I stated, jay was too honest and open in that press conference but it doesn't change the fact that every exclusive that drops will have the "tidal" mention as the title of the song trends worldwide
what jay did was smart, gave the artist equity,so if they want to see some $$,then they have to push it,just like jay is doing...
everything is "high end" these days...its just where the world is going, sadly
people keep saying" it offers the same service yet I have to pay more...

"
If you say that then Id like to know if that applies to everything you buy.....
