I try my hardest to understand exactly what DMX did that 50 cent didn't do and I cant? I can only guess people connected to X music on a emotional level cuz he made deep music...but as far as a run I would say they run was about the same commericially for me.....and if you count 50's mixtape days lowkey he got the advantage....yet I see people try to downplay what he did all the time.

And Then There Was X is about a 3.5/5

Grand Champ is a 3.5/5

I remember even random white dudes were loving DMX! People loved his aggression and passion not to mention his live performances were dope. Even Jay said he thought X live was something else.

I'm lost... He can't fall off bc he was huge at one point? Thats the point of a fall off. Yeah X was higher than pretty much anyone in '98 and had s career 99 out of a hundred rappers would kill for. But even tho he was successful for a bit after his peak it was a steady slide down to the bottom 10 years later where he's acting like his life is Grand Theft Auto driving around high on crack and looking like your uncle no one talks about. If he didn't have that insane peak 98-00 no one would mention him at all.
