i never understood complaining about a fighter being boring
did you really expect him to change his gameplan he's perfected over the years so you can get a couple of oohs and ahhs for a night?
some of you nikkas would rather look good losing than look boring winning

Why would it bother someone if he says he is going to finish someone and doesnt, its apart of almost every fighters pre game ramble to say hes gonna knock out his opponent...I dont get alot of this hate for GSP and im not a huge fan of his or UFC...
He was really trying to finish Dan Hardy too, I remember him being really upset that Hardy was able to escape that armbar.
Nah man, being a vegetable is worse than having self doubt, every time.
these cats are a trip foreal @phillycavsfan that look on their faces is the realization that under unified rules u dont necessarily need martial arts if you are a freak athlete with ridiculous strength.Of course that would be demoralizing but thats not the same as a dude psychologically clowning u using "martial arts"
And like I said before, GSP doesn't give a fukk about your entertainment. He's winning fights and he's the PPV king of MMA
who said he did? the argument was what gsp does is just the same as anderson which is a ridiculous statement. Aesthetically what gsp does is ugly, he doesnt intend to finish so his whole approach is different. And is predictably guaranteed to go 5 rounds. In the annals of time you will only be able to point to the first 2 matt hughes (and serra) fights.Because he is just forgettable the fact that hes a ppv king is beside the point because we know thats entirely gays/women/whites with an inferiority complex in sports living vicariously.Cant say the same for andersontired of paying for his fights hoping something surprises me. same ol' george. all his fights look the same. not even trying to finish. "reactive not proactive" is fitting. i'm done. i'm DONE with him

its a shame u can only dap once i really couldnt have put it betterexactly, what gsp does to his opponents cannot be compared to what anderson does to them. with anderson, its more than just knocking dudes out, its pure psychological warfare. he toys with professional fighters, humiliates them, shows them they dont belong in the same octagon as him, then puts them out of their misery. ive never seen a fighter put themselves in more risk than anderson. he really is the anti-GSP in this regard. he likes to beat his opponents where they are best at. using his last fight against bonnar as an example, bonnar's gameplan was to hold him up against the fence, use dirty boxing, make it ugly, and take him down if it too crazy (a la randy couture). anderson nullified all of that, and showed him he couldn't do ANYTHING to him. to me this is far more demoralizing than being held down for 25 minutes

That's a terrible, misleading example of Silva's talent. You realize that Stephan Bonnar is a bonafide scrub right? Bonnar was basically a .500 fighter in the UFC. That was a squash match that had to be set up under short notice. It was like the Undertaker fighting the Brooklyn Brawler. You think Silva's pulling off shyt like that against Chael Sonnen, Demian Maia, or Chris Weidman? Please.
wasnt hardy suppose to be a scrub and gsp still couldnt finish him

I'm not saying what Silva did wasn't impressive, but it's akin to Jon Jones fighting a guy like Kyle Kingsbury, or GSP fighting Roger Bowling. Champion vs a UFC replacement-level fighter.
