I think
On one hand, this could be alarming and considered overly reactionary. On the other hand, she is learning on the fly and every decision she's made have been improvements over her last, whether large or small. I can't say there hasn't been any consistency because Vrabel's been here for over 6 years. You know what it is with him, for better & for worse. U got a good idea of what his ceiling may be. It's just funny that he seemingly won the power struggle with JR last year only to seemingly lose it with RC this yr.
I’m a huge fan of Vrabes as a person and HC what he was able to do with the team. He had a good team when he was in the playoffs but his inability to change is his downfall. He’s pretty stubborn and loyal and likes to keep to his own philosophy. I think he needs to grow up and adapt.

We should have had an analytics team, we should hire more outside coaches. He should have benched Tannehill years ago. I think he’s a good leader though and no doubt the players love him. Look at our Titans thread my last post shows a lot of info from X.

At the end of the day we need to be a better offense. This pretty much tells me Henry is gone.

Feels like more of a mutual parting then anything. Vrabel is a pretty good coach though so I can't imagine him sitting on the sidelines to long if he wants to coach next season.

Houston to LA like I'm Robert Horry.
He’s not a bad coach but he’s someone who needs to be paired with a good QB and a competent OC. His staffing decisions independent of roster left a lot to be desired.

I think the Titans messed up firing him now though. They have a young QB, most cap space, and 7th overall draft pick. This should have been his make or break year IMO

Derrick Henry has put that entire team on his back. Henry was the reason for our success not Vrabel.

Ill never forgive them for paying Tannehill first over Henry when Tannehill was throwing for a total of 40 yds in playoffs games.

Conservative outdated offense. Run, Run, Playaction. Traded away AJ Brown. Gave Tanny fukking Hill the keys.

Im glad he fukking gone. This was Henrys team. No question.

I know he’s beloved there, but NE over Nashville doesn’t make much sense. Nashville has warmer weather; Nashville is basically Atlanta for cacs, no state tax, and you in a weaker division.
He's a professional goofball coach not a Coli niqqa looking to maximize a middle class lifestyle. You go where opportunity is available.

He would fit lovely as a DC in a place like Jax. Where the HC is offense minded and the DC will have his own world to operate.

He a good leader of men but not the best coach for 2024. Teams need offensive minded coaches now.

Though everything goes full circle so the time will come when DCs are the hot thing again.

This too!

Derrick Henry’s run(no pun intended) from 2019-2021 was transcendent. It gave Tannehill a second lease on life and Vrabel and the gm at the time a longer leash.

Despite having AJ Brown any other running back in the backfield(except maybe CMC) and the Titans don’t win a single playoff game in his tenure and no one thinks twice about this firing. Hell in every playoff game Derrick Henry was held under 200 yards they looked dazed and confused and ultimately loss. Imagine a running back in the modern era needing 200+ yards to win a playoff game.

I don’t think he’s a bad coach but he’s getting unnecessary amount of love from the media today when we’re not having this discussion if they had someone like Leonard Fortnette instead of Henry. Even his side of the ball of defense was suspect except when he had a guy like Jim Schwartz or Dean Pees on the team.
