I mean, it's all there. Helluva coach when he has a good cupboard to work with. Outcoached Belichick to send Tom to TB. Took a game off the Chiefs in the playoffs when he had no business in 2018 with Marcus Mariota 🤢. 1 score away from beating Bengals to play Rams in SB. Done had numerous reg season wins vs Bills, Chiefs and 49ers + more all while having the most injured team in the league for 2 years straight at one point.

The evidence is all there. His main "deficiencies" were probably his last CPL OC hires/promotions and he's just ultra conservative. Like if people thing analytics has swung the pendulum too far in one direction, then he's the exact opposite. No spice at all. Players love him tho. Will motivate the shyt outta guys and can help wit technique a lot having played.

I'm indifferent fr tho just cuz I wanna see us fully embrace the modern passing times. Or, if we are gonna run, do it creatively like McDaniel or Shanahan and not just count on the uniqueness + strength of 22 👑.

That loss was in the divisional round. Had they won they would have faced the Chiefs in the AFC championship

But he is a good coach , and gets a lot out of the team, particularly when the team has talent.

Foregone conclusion we would've beat them again :troll:

But nah, he is a good coach. Don't know if I see it with the Pats tho unless they knock it out the park wit their QB pick. Cuz otherwise, he gonna be right back in the same position he's been in the past cpl years with the Titans. Maybe worse.

I wonder if Ran will go with a Shanahan tree guy like Bobby Slowik. That would hurt Houston too.

You doing the science now :ohhh:

Arthur Smith was actually a good OC for Tennessee. He became worse in Atlanta.

Debatable

He produced but it was kind of hard not to having Henry in his prime + AJ + Tanny before he took a nosedive off the cliff.

A lot of playcalls were predictable as hell though once u pulled back the curtain. His successor does the same boring ass shyt. Sitting their with their script, calling runs the first two downs no matter what like we still in the 80s then following up wit a PA pass that AJ or Hop deebo from somebody. They have no feel for today's game...

Vrabel is a good coach, but he would benefit going somewhere with pieces already in place and a GM that would play ball with him.

A team like the Chargers would be a nice fit for him if he could find a good OC to run the offense.

True..You're right about Smith being predictable. That 2020 home playoff game against Baltimore was an example of that.

Whenever they showed him on the sidelines this season he always appeared...emotionless....tired...dunno what the best word to use is. But he looked like he didn't really wanna be there

On one hand, this could be alarming and considered overly reactionary. On the other hand, she is learning on the fly and every decision she's made have been improvements over her last, whether large or small. I can't say there hasn't been any consistency because Vrabel's been here for over 6 years. You know what it is with him, for better & for worse. U got a good idea of what his ceiling may be. It's just funny that he seemingly won the power struggle with JR last year only to seemingly lose it with RC this yr.
