Really not surprising with QB the most critical position. Anyone QB showing any signs of potential is gonna be signed to a large contract when their rookie deals are done or if they're a vet that has been productive. And with every new contract, agents are always going to keep pushing for more.

Starting to look like the Chiefs knew the decline was coming soon:wow:. It makes sense when you think about his play style that he wouldnt last long. Ill give him until 32 before he maxes out and they are looking for a replacement. And before im accused of trolling the reason is escapability. Escapability is his best asset like Russell Wilson, without it he is Clark Kent. And hes not athletic enough to have even the slightest decline like say a Lamar could and still be effective.

Far as the list, give the qbs on the left:mjlol:

:snoop:

Every year since his 2nd as a starter, 3 super bowls later, the same talking points

You can’t discount 2 super bowls for Eli You just can’t :heh: It’s why his career is so hard to judge
Eli isn't hard to judge, this is simple...

He won two Super Bowls in two years that he had the perfect balance across positions + everyone, including Eli, catching fire at the right time...

He played 14 other seasons besides those two years. He went to the playoffs only 4 more times and never won a playoff game. '07 and '11 were exceptions, not the rule. He had two Joe Flacco runs...

He was an inconsistent decision maker, and unequivocally didn't make his teams better------>his teams played at peak level when they got elite production everywhere else, particularly pass rush, protection, and consistency on the ground. When he didn't have everything rolling at a B level around him, he almost never demonstrated an ability to elevate the guys around him...

He's an average QB who got two hot runs. He'll make Canton because he's a Manning and won two Super Bowls, not because he was an All-Time great player at his position...

2011 he had a horrible run game and a middling defense. That season was a carry job by Eli. I watched every snap of Eli’s career so there’s nothing you’re telling me that I don’t know about him when it comes to his inconsistency. I was done with Eli in 2016 as a Giants fan :heh:

That run game and defense stepped up in the '11 playoffs when they needed critical stops and first downs...

Didnt say he cant win now, just saying he better get every chip he can right now, because his runway is short:francis:

He will not be a good qb past 32-33 from the looks of things. And i think hes 27-28 now so thats being generous.

Are you saying, he's decaying before our eyes? :lupe:

I think hes saying its the dumbest contract in the history of football. Especially if Im right and he hits that Russell Wilson wall at 32-33 and never sees another contract. The Chiefs might be loyal and sign him regardless of how garbage he is by then. That would be the honorable thing to do,but extremely bad business. They are going to wish they had the balls to do what Belicheck did:respect:

You have to explain to me what the issue is lol

The only quarterbacks to have more rings than him is Brady, Bradshaw, and Montana. Whenever he retires he’s a shoe in for the HOF.

Lol the base is happy with what he’s done even if he never wins another ring

Hell no

Deshaun browns contract, Nick foles jaguar contract, and Haynesworth redskins contract are the worse ever

Tua maybe not because injury history and hed need a solid oline.... but there would be a lot of teams trying to "fix" Lawrence. Hed get a very similar deal on the open market.

problem is the others who aren't close to his level of productivity, talent, and results making more.

all this "the market" says shyt needs to stop.

but then again, if a GM/Owner is dumb enough to give it to you. :francis:

youre better than this regurgitating dumb shyt

Lamar was never leaving Baltimore, Lamar was never an UFA on open market

Lamar had the non-exclusive franchise tag put on him, which meant if he didnt agree to a new long term deal he'd play on 32m salary in 2023

other teams could offer a tender, but Baltimore would have a right to match it

the last player who had this tag placed on him and who has changed teams was back in 2000

you know why ? because another team not only would have to offer a non-exclusive tagged player a big contract, but also to give up TWO FIRST ROUND PICKS
