There is no question, no other teams would have been able to take the Jays or Dodgers to Game 7, period. Elite pitching, defensive plays, and fundamentals have made this a very fun series tonight...

So many impossible and improbable events in one series is a once in a lifetime event as a baseball fan...

That last play was absolute insanity!

the crazy thing about that play was that GOATani hit the ball and landed in the exact same spot the inning before

really makes you think like what if his double in the 8th in that spot made the wall/mat shift just even slightly

BASEBALL!!!:blessed:

lol raw talent? the dodgers are clearly the more talented team, even if some players are in their twilight.
it's been an even series. both teams have had their shytty games and both teams have had their stellar games

whoever wins will deserve it

and lol at losing after being down 3-1 being considered a choke job or losing against an Ace who pitches better on the road being a choke. the coli folks

Clearly I was talking about having runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs then losing the game on the next 3 pitches and commiting one of most retarded running errors in history :mjlol:

At the end of the day, the 3 games the jays have won it's been because their bats went ballistic in 1 inning and put the game out of reach. The games the dodgers have won have all been the close nail biters. Because they've been able the keep their composure and execute in the high pressure moments, and the jays have not. Jays fans better pray their bats go crazy in the game 7. Cause it's clear the dodgers got the better clutch gene.

I mean to be fair composure is winning two games after a crushing 18 inning loss

It is what it is mistakes happen (Barger base running and Clement swinging on first pitch)

Game 7 is only fair

Why the fukk is a wall possibly dictating the goddamn World Series??? That ground rule double changed everything.

And I can’t believe Barger got doubled off.

Please end this bullshyt Dodgers fairytale tonight! :noah:

I'm talking about in game composure during the moments when every play could be life or death. The jays just seem to keep making critical errors in those moments while the dodgers don't. And that's because of their experience. And that's why I'm not buying all that shyt about the jays being the better team and they're just "losing to themselves".....dodgers are barely hitting above 200 and pushed this to 7 simply because they're a special team who will keep grinding til the end.

You don't wanna see Ohtani hit one into the lights like Roy Hobbs after pitching 5 scoreless :gucci:

I really going to missed Vesia for tonight game

Last 7 games he been money out the bullpen

Dodgers bats must score 3 or more runs by the end of the 6th inning or its a wrap

Toronto bats are like them white boys on the basketball courts with they shirt off and just keep scrappin , bothering and ignoring you all game and won’t let up

If my jays score a lot of runs early and give Mad Max Scherzer a big lead, he will calm down, settle and get into a nice groove. He’s an experienced and wily veteran who knows how to perform and act in such an important game. He won the last game 7 played in a World Series with the Washington nationals 6 years ago. But because of his age, jays giving him strong run support tonight would make his job easier and less stressful. He won’t have to be nearly perfect on the hill.

That’s also the reason why I hope to see the blue jays explode offensively, chase the dodgers starter in game 7 out of the game again early and blow out the LAD tonight. Think big, win big.

I remember that my blue jays won only one close, tight game in this playoff run( game 7 of the ALCS against the mariners, final score: Toronto won 4-3 ) all our other playoff wins this year were stress free, obvious, no-doubt blowouts. My Blue Jays are actually a great and resilient comeback team- they led the MLB in comeback wins this season ( they had 49 come from behind wins) so I’m not afraid if they trail early in the game because I know they can make comebacks, because nearly every hitter in our batting order knows how to work pitch counts, hit both for power and contact, get on bases, get hits with runners in scoring position, and score runs . We have disciplined, smart, patient, consistent hitters with good hand-eye coordination, anticipation and pitch discernment/awareness/ judgment. They don’t swing at first or bad pitches often.

But they also play much better when they put their boots on the opposing team’s necks and make sure that the game is out of reach for them by killing them with explosive, relentless offense and hitting and smart, mistake free defense/fielding. The surest and safest way for Toronto to win a game is to score a lot of runs to give a comfortable lead and cushion to our bullpen because many of them are struggling with pitching location/control/velocity and get strikes/outs under pressure. Other than Bassitt, Hoffman and maybe Lauer, I can’t trust the other relievers in our bullpen to get quick/easy strikes and outs and preserve/save a one or two run lead in the 9th inning and beyond. We can’t get quick 1-2-3 innings with these guys. Varland, Fisher, Little, Dominguez, Fluharty are hit or miss. They’re too inconsistent, sometimes they’re good, sometimes they’re bad. I won’t call them scrubs but I don’t trust them at 100% unlike Bassitt, Hoffman and Lauer.
