Lol, good question. I wonder as well how they got to review personal /confidential medical records of a patient. I really don't know but there are 3 possibilities. The most likely is Meg's team send them medical records with her consent (which could be fake or real) . The second is the "source" somehow had a copy of the records (which again could be fake or real) . The third is if they somehow have someone with access at the hospital who sold them the info (very unlikely).

Even then, this feels like propaganda on Complex’s part. Let’s say choice 1 or 2 is correct, why would they give it to Complex of all publications? CNN and The NY Times reported on this story, wouldn’t you want them to report on it?
