you can give personal's without reference past battles, that shyt ain't necessary
True, but past history being brought up is a large part of battle rap :manny: I'd hate to see them not be able to bring shyt up just because a crowd is retarded. The negative of having new people around battle rap.

I'm honestly overwhelmed by how terrible everything about this event was. Not even sure I can discuss it. I mean, this nikka Sway was up there engaging in random nincompoopery on the mic. How many rappers we got in the house?
:what:
nikka what the fukk is you saying?

Were Ebro and Royce supposed to be a blaxploitation food stamp version of Statler and Waldorf?

How in the fukk do you spend all this time promoting an event via tv show, internet, and radio and don't even have the motherfukking mics on point? That's like going to an NBA playoff game and watching nikkas play with a deflated ball. Beyond unacceptable.

Joe Buddens was already one of the biggest doofuses in hip hop history, but this really cements him as a flat out disgrace. This lame nikka was rapping like he was recording a dis track over a beat, and he had so many basic ass, corny bars that it started getting kind of sad toward the end. Voice was straight horrid, stage presence was gay, he's gassin his own punch lines and yellin "stop my time" after ever fukking bar. Then he chastised the crowd for "booing the hard shyt." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Hollow was mediocre as fukk, so it's hard to give him a W, but Joey Burden damn sure took the L.

The battlers ain't even stick around at the end? Word? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Sway up there mispronouncing words and misusing "rebuttal" and making up bullshyt like "the championship round." nikka fukk you and your stupid ass hat.

Quite simply, without any question, the single worst battle event I have ever watched. No fluidity to it, crowd was terrible, battlers seemed either unprepared or just wack... Anyone who went or copped the PPV lost hard.

The biggest winner here? Smack.

Holy Christ the PPV was really that bad?

Being at the live show was dope (for me at least). I mean granted underwhelming at times but it was still a fun fukkin way to spend a Saturday night

But :dead: at this recap

Mook had the DNA effect where they were hyping anything he said, but on replay it's not going to look that crazy. Crowd got tired of Lux's style and they liked Mook's straight forwardness and he did have good angles.

I didn't leave that battle thinking Mook was better than Lux. Just like I didn't leave the DNA/Will battle thinking DNA is anything but garbage. But Mook clearly won and he deserves props.
I figured something like this happened..........

So when the videos come out, watch Arsonal's 3 rounds, Mook's 3rd and that's it?

Worst event ever, keep big corporations away from battle rap..

They wasted 3 dope matchups that could've been on smack smh

What corporations got to do with daylyt being a clown, lux getting bodied, or hollow being underwhelming though? I can understand some complaints about the ambiance but yall acting like this would have played out any different if you transplanted these same performances over to smack/url format.

Why was mook able to come in and get his shyt off despite all of the corporate cacs and such? I don't know if I buy this "too much pressure", just seems like the performances, which truly make the battle weren't up to par...and I don't know if you can blame that on the lights being "too bright", that just sounds dumb to me.
