I think that's why hollow bounced after the battle was over. Like fukk this dude i'm not even gonna give him the respect of staying for the outcome.

To me budden's main flaw was gassing himself way too much. Every damn line, "yo stop the clock. make sure the clock ain't running". He was like that dude on the bball court talking shyt every time he made a jumper. Just shut up and spit your bars. I mean I could understand feeding off the crowd once or twice but it got annoying and I think it cheapened his performance quite a bit

And good point, hollow getting in his face about the woman beating sh1t, I don't think that was planned either. Crowd was mad quiet after that kinda just like wtf? When it crosses over from battle rap into legitimately threatening your opponent nobody really rocks with that (see math vs calicoe)

Co-sign. After seeing their interview on the Breakfast Club I thought Joe was just going to stay silent/stonefaced during Hollow's rounds, and then turn around and spit his bars clean. Instead he opted to make faces and do all sorts of nonsense mannerisms during Hollow's bars, then being super extra during his own rhymes. If he had just done the former it would have come off much better/more respectable. Dropping the mic was just the icing on the cake

watching the 2nd round, Hollow took the Pump It Up joke from Inspectah Deck but his 2nd round (especially the 1st half of it) was better than it seemed when I watching the stream. both 3rd rounds are still embarrassing though.

Hollow was a complete fail on Saturday. If Hollow was on his A game, he would've easily beat that Joe Budden. But he was ASS. His angles were disjointed and didn't hit, his bars were average (he did have some cold ones though) and he seemed uninspired. He's made 60 K this year off battles and it's only July, so I can see him getting a little lazy.
