I'm against it if it means game quality goes down and I'm not talking about that fps bs. ES oblivion was in development for like 4-5 years if I'm not mistaken, and at the time of it's release was one of the best rpg's you could pick up. Are we going to lose this type of dedication going forward I wonder.

If retailers keep giving us proper trade-in value for previous gen consoles then I don't have a problem with it. Flipping my 360 and some games at Best Buy knocked off $200 from a $350 purchase. That makes it feel like you aren't being taken advantage of just to have the next shyt because as we've seen this gen, early adopters can get bent over.
To be real this is part of the reason I haven't jumped to next gen. I don't know if its my interest in video games have dropped but nothing has come out that made want to get ____ system. Even SFV looks like a snooze fest to me. I hope if they do release 4.5 that would give devs a shorter dev cycle on top of taking less time to make games.
