She still should have won the Independent vote. As bad as she was, Trump was an extremist and morally bankrupt candidate. Trump literally said he wanted to ban all Muslims from coming into the US during the primary. The grab em by the p*ssy tape came out right before the general election. All that should have sunk him with Independents. Instead he still won Independents.
Mind you, these Independents I'm talking about are white people. They see economic issues and age first over race and extremism. DeSantis extremist record won't matter against Biden. Besides the things I listed about age, if Inflation is still a problem, that will help DeSantis and hurt Biden with Independents in the main election.
Never trust white people to do the right thing for an extended period of time.
Bro polls are not that useful anymore
They manipulate that shyt
Still crazy though
It’s a circus show, from all sides
I don’t know about “crush”. A Republican hasn’t won the popular vote in about 3 decades.Desantis will crush biden
Yep, they never share the sample base for these poll.
Saying “X% of Americans feel” is misleading.
Exactly.Trump is getting washed again by Biden.
Biden is the only president to not lose a senate seat in a midterm in over 90 years and that's because the midterms were about Trump.
Truth. DeSantis is popular only because the establishment is pushing him.....but he's not been vetted yet.Independents aren't flocking to Desantis in a national election lmao.
It's strategic because he knows that they have an overlap in their voter bases.Heres my thing. DeSantis is defending Trump tho
fukking idiot
Also, Florida had a trash Democrat candidate in the last election who was a former Republican and had a bad campaign.Truth. DeSantis is popular only because the establishment is pushing him.....but he's not been vetted yet.
All the shyt he's doing in Florida? 2/3 of the country doesn't even know. It would be a very tight race.
Bingo! Also, Florida had a trash Democrat candidate in the last election who was a former Republican and had a bad campaign.
And DeSantis is very polished politician and sounds like a milquetoast Kermit The Frog even when he's trying to convey emotion while Trump comes off like that guy in the bar who speaks in a more informal way and "tells it like it is."
The latter approach appeals to working class White Americans and the "poorly educated" much more than DeSantis.
Man, I read such a well written article about the bombings. It broke it down by the day and the hour. This was a made-up narrative narrative created to justify the bombings. (which goes for 90% of the shyt fed to the American public about that bombing) The two nukes were dropped way too close together to be able to gage Japanese opinion like that at all. There was literally just two days in-between. And the Japanese weren't fighting the Americans at all on that point, they were stuck isolated on their island with no air or sea forces left and pretty much were just getting bombed mercilessly by US air forces with nothing they could do about it.
The only major fighting going on at the time was the Russian invasion. The Russians completely overwhelmed Japanese forces in Manchuria, South Sakhalin, and the Kuril Islands. That invasion began the night before the 2nd US bomb was dropped and continued after the bomb. What was going on in Nagasaki had no meaningful impact on the campaign and the Japanese soldiers fought the same either way.
The real reason two bombs were dropped (as expressed by multiple US military leaders at the time) is because Truman and the scientists wanted to test both uranium and plutonium bombs. The bombings had been planned back in May and ALWAYS included two bombs being dropped. The actual military situation was irrelevant. In fact, they explicitly order the air forces to avoid bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki between May and August, because they wanted to have a relatively virgin testing ground to study the full impact of the bomb.
This much is entirely true, and goes for pretty much any war in addition to political battles.
ExactlyThe GOP base are basically handing the Dems the election
