Davey Boy got :flabbynsick: as fukk within 1 year :wtf:

That's what happens when you're on steroids/pills/booze hardcore without lifting anymore.

The night Thunder debut is the night WCW died. It just took until 2001 for them to realize it. As soon as Thunder debuts, the whole company is completely directionless. It never recovered.

I only somewhat noticed back then, but I thought it was pretty ":lolbron::usure:" how during the Power Trip/Hardyz feud, they gradually shuffled the Hardyz out the paint for Kane and Undertaker :mjlol:.It's like they said "alright Hardyz/Lita, that's enough exposure, we know the crowd loves you, but back to the midcard you go" lol. Jeff wouldn't elevate to the main event scene (through his own doing) until 2008/2009, and Matt until TNA:russ:

100% False

I'll remind you that the first Thunder was about 40% recaps and they even played a full PPV match to fill time. Thunder was a show no one in the company wanted, because they were having enough trouble coming up with content for just the now 3 hours of Nitro every week. Then they added Thunder, all the costs of an additional big show, but the talent didn't get paid any extra and hated it, so they half assed it as Bischoff continued to flounder under the workload. It became apparent 2 weeks into Thunder that WCW was rudderless and had no plans or strong leadership. Thunder was probably the single worst decision in the last 3-4 years of WCW. A show that fans didn't ask for, that talent didn't want, that production didn't want, that diluted the brand, that added a ton of expenses, that outright damaged the quality of the brand, and drove creative past the brink of being able to produce quality content for Nitro or Thunder at that point.

Thunder is not the reason WCW ended. Period

It's like you aren't even reading what I'm saying. Thunder was the tipping point of WCW becoming over exposed, the top talent becoming as lazy as possible, and the creative team losing the plot. Thunder debuting, costing everyone money, and having to spend all that extra time working on shytty shows people didn't even want in the first place is a big part of what bogged WCW down and allowed WWF to shoot ahead of them.
