Fins aren't winning shyt this year anyway, let's at least see what we have in Tua. My initial concern coming into the season was that our o-line was inexperienced, but they've been playing much better than anticipated, so I feel good about him having the tools he needs to succeed, especially with him having 2 weeks to prepare. Absolute worst case, he is a colossal bust and then maybe you think about drafting Fields with the pick that we have from the Texans. If he's solid, the offense just needs another WR and a RB and they're good to go.

Might as well get the rook in there now. We've had years upon years upon years to see what Fitzmagic gets you at the end of the day. And for a man like Flores, we know he has to be exceptional to keep his job. Not middling or average. Not bad. If Tua is anything close to the transcendent talent everyone thinks he is, this can only work out for the best.

Brian Flores is out to prove something. While Fitzpatrick has been decent, the offense is really limited as his arm ain't where it used to be. Hopefully Tua has been watching Fitz's presence in the pocket because he's going to need it as our receivers don't get tons of separation. The plan is to build around Tua so I'd assume that they want to see how he looks before spending $ on free agents and draft picks.

This actually works out for us as we get a bye before LAR, another team in playoff contention. They have a short week after playing on Monday night, whatever defensive gameplan they did have on the Dolphins is now going to have to be strapped, plus they have to literally travel cross country to play in Miami. We also should have our starting LT and Antonio Callaway back by then.

11/15 is going to be must see TV:whoo:
