I don't think it's fair to toss a rookie out there in what is arguably the toughest game in their schedule thus far, with that being said Fitzpatrick tends to come down to earth around game 6 or 7.

I thought his throws in garbage time (created by Fitz no less) looked a lil shaky :lupe:
They probably feel like they can afford the risk knowing if he stinks it up they can just go right back to Fitz

Bills and Seahawks were our toughest games.

Maybe it's because i'm a Fins fan and watch every game (We've been trash, I don't expect people nationally to watch us like that), I really don't get the hate at all.

"Aaron Donald is gonna kill him" Aaron Donald is the best defensive player in the league, he does that to everyone. It's to be expected.

Tua has been the backup all season. Meaning he was healthy and ready week 1 in case something happened to Fitz. If he wasn't 100%, why have him potentially playing snaps in Week 1, much less Week 8? The o-line isn't great, but I think it's decent enough and will only get better as the rookies progress. It's not like you can just sit him until the o-line is elite, hardly any rookie QB's would play if that was the case. Burrow is getting beaten up behind their trash ass o-line, no one is calling for him to be pulled because of the beatings he's taking.

"Fitz makes their o-line look better because he gets rid of the ball quickly". He was our QB last year and we were dead last in sacks allowed per game. Did he somehow just get pocket presence and a quick release this past offseason? Also, Tua's biggest strength in college was getting the ball out quickly and accurately to his playmakers. If he can't do that at this level, then he's got bigger problems to worry about. Not to mention the fact that he's obviously more athletic than Fitz allows you to run more RPO's that help combat pass rushing.
