Why do labels do that???

basically labels don't want the artist to leave... so when that last 1-2 albums of a contract starts coming, they start bullshytting. they still getting paid off you in other ways.. so the fact your album isn't out, they give no fukks.. they still getting money... so they will tell you it's not good enough.. give you the run around.. say its not the right time to drop it... whatever they got to do.. so they can walk around saying "that's MY artist"


and it's even worse with a 360... i don't know if tyga has one... probably tho... but if you owe me 1 album and i drop it in 2014... you're gone.. i'm can only get money off your last 5 albums

if i hold on to that album.. and never drop it... well i still get money off your shows and merch, forever... or until you turn up the pressure so incredibly high, that it is bad for the label NOT to drop it (lupe, lox wit puff, wayne when he was gonna sign with roc, etc etc)
