IFI also don’t like how Tyler perry made it seem like black men can only pay a light bill wtf
Ok but my question was rhetorical and had to do with TP's bad logic. Seemed obvious but I guess not.I think all blacken raised in fucntional homes are taught to get their money up. Every black man I know raised in a functional home does so. When I hear black women say this it’s another red flag that this lady has been dating too many pookies.
Great anecdote but that's not the kind of couple TP is talking about.Compromising is not settling and I think that’s the issue black woken have. There is nothing in life where you don’t have to do some form of comprising.
My mom made more than my dad but I don’t think she dated down cause my dad made good money and he took care of the house and the kids better than my mom. My moms strengths was just always looking out for our education
If you want to talk about comprehension then talk about Tyler perry incorrectly saying black women make more. They don’t.IF
People have lost all communication comprehension.. They pick out the parts they want to argue about and focus on that.
That was just an extreme example... An example where he didn't even mention how much more the woman was making.. That could be the light bill in a project apt for all we know.
Main point was if you getting all the love and your family is good, don't throw it all away cause he makes less.. Don't let money get in the way of love. Seems like what was taught throughout all of history but now women THINK they have the upper hand, they want new rules
Well they ain't working out so somebody has to dummy it down and tell them again
My dad would be considered low value by a lot of modern day women for simply not making more than my mom.Great anecdote but that's not the kind of couple TP is talking about.
Is the ass fat?Tell me how y'all would feel about this, and be honest:
Oprah or Beyonce or Michelle Obama uses her platform to say "Listen. Black men are typically more fit and easygoing than black women. Black men want fit and feminine and friendly but the reality is, your soulmate may be overweight and have an attitude because black women go through a lot. It's okay. Choose her anyway because love is all that matters."
Y'all cosigning that or nah?
Exactly, you know your status. A five star knows their a 5 starPeople overuse the term "settling". Settling is if a 5 star recruit in football picks a lesser school like Western Michigan when he has offers from Bama or Georgia. When folks "settle" for something, you pick a lesser option when you actually QUALIFY for better options. And those options come quickly too.
If you out here waiting 5, 10, 15 years and that better option ain't came yet, then you clearly don't qualify for them. Water finding its own level isn't "settling".
