Man I remember they had a music video that was a spoof of an infomercial literally whitewashing hip-hop to appeal to White people.

It's crazy to see that's the route they ended up taking :francis:
yep, that was BEP Empire produced by Primo. They really tried to do this hip hop shyt but hip hop fans are the worst kind of mfers in the world. You put out classic albums, they don't listen or support you. You start doing mainstream music, they strt criticizing because you're not making music for them..

As an 80s baby :flabbynsick:from North Carolina, can I ask seriously, who is his demo? I've never encountered a Tyler fan before. Like who is his target market making him so big?

I mean to be fair their real hip hop stuff was kinda bland, like a swaggerless De La Soul

Nasty. Rap (and rap fans, more importantly) are gay and weird...been that way for a while now, salute to this corny ass nig actually having people who choose to be his fan, nasty.

What a shytty take.

Raps fans have got to the point where any kind of musicality or leftfield influences is considered "weird"

It's like most of the coli either want everything to be produced by Metro or by Alchemist.

For the record, I don't listen to Tyler's music at all, but I aint mad at his success. My favorite song from him is "lumberjack". A dude in his 20s let me hear it for the first time years ago when it dropped and I had to remind him that I was listening to that back in high school from the Gravediggaz lol.
