Who the feature on the song?

There lies the answer u want

Look at the date.

There’s a radio interview he did years ago talking about waiting in the car while his mom was in this store, hearing this song and it made him really want to get into music.

You sound miserable. How the fukk are you gonna tell the man that the song didn’t change his life? What kinda bullshyt is that?

When I think of life changing, I don't think of life changing in terms of "Oh, that's a really dope song that influenced my music". Life changing is like, this is the song I had my first kiss to. This song got me through the death of a loved one. This song was the song that I walked down the aisle to. I conceived children to this song. This song motivated me to do better in life.

It isn't so much about "life changing" being overboard, but more so calling it "the greatest piece of art to ever be released". Nobody has to agree with this. Calling anything "greatest" is open for debate, which is why I called it overboard to begin with.

But run along and do you. Have a nice day.

But for someone that makes music for a living, a song that inspires and influences his music could be life changing, no? Dude is winning Grammys, throwing festivals, had a tv show, and a fashion line, based on his music.

For someone who sees music as simply a soundtrack to big moments in life, the impact won’t be the same.

It's still an exaggeration because I'm certain he's spoken highly of a bunch of Pharrell songs and not just this ONE. This is the one he wrote a think piece about.

Dudes be on some other BS. I acknowledge a song as CLASSIC, but because I don't agree that this song isn't "life changing" or "the greatest piece of art known to man", posters want to make an issue out of it. Even crazier I posted this same song a few days back before one think piece was posted about it. There was someone reminiscing on songs of the summer from 20 years ago, and I posted "Frontin" in response.

Posters even in here questioning other posters for saying The Neptunes had better songs. Breh, I've been a whole Neptunes fan since the 90's, collected released and unreleased songs.

Hope you have a better one, brother.
