Wear a wig while interviewing.

We had a chick get to the interview on Friday, had on a black, straight bob wig. Impressed the manager and was told to start Monday.

Showed up Monday, wig off and RED LOCS like . I was . Manager was .

But it was all good cause our office and management all black.

Like others said tho, some black people hate locs more than cacs.

Any place that won't hire me because of dreads I don't want to work there anyway. So me your priorities up front. At least you have options in that case.
There are people in solitary confinement right now because of dreadlocks, I read one guy been in there since the late 70s because of his hair

In Phoenix (Maricopa county jail), if you don't cut your hair short and shave all facial hair each day, you have to serve your whole sentence in solitary. One hour out a day, no job to earn 2 for 1 days served, no commissary, and they only serve you the loaf
