Yeah.... I am aware... Just commenting...They're not competing for money against the WNBA though.
They're competing for money against men's soccer and people worldwide ain't checking for women's soccer like that.

When it comes to international tourneys the men's side bring in much more revenue, which is why the women made a big push for this after the Men missed out on the last World Cup. Which is kind of chicken shyt because once/if the Men qualify for the next one their revenue will dwarf the Women's again
exactly, their arguments are disingenious.
most women's teams are barely funded by their federations, and just assemble a team to stay in fifa's good graces. The women's team qualify for the world cup by winning a single site, 2 week tournament ... meanwhile men's team format the past few cycles have to play over 2 to 3 years playing 16 games, minimum, to make it to the world cup. The level of competition in the men's game and the women's game is not comparable at all.
They've been arguing disingenious arguments this whole time, complaining about the disparity in prize money between the men's and women's world cups, their dominance over the world of women's soccer, etc.
Their argument would go something like an Olympic gymnast like, idk, Simone Biles arguing that she deserves pay equality to someone like James Harden because she's earned more lifetime gold medals than him.
That’s nowhere near true as far as marketability
It’s also one of the few sports where the women are actually more marketable than the men. I highly doubt that many people could name at least 3-4 players on the men’s soccer team.
because young boys dont really play soccer here.If it wasn’t true, then is US men’s soccer intent on having David Beckham and Zlatan to help increase the marketability and popularity of soccer here in the US. They don’t have the star power than women’s soccer do even as they bring in more revenue than the women. It’s also the reason why they hyped up Freddy Adu the way that they did.
Revenue doesn’t equate to popularity.
In America maybe but I guarantee Christian Pulisic is far more marketable internationally than any female soccer player.
But that’s not even the argument here so not sure why you brought it up? You sign a contract you have to honour it unless both parties agree to terminate it.
the only right you have is to ask to change it. you cant actually change if the other side doesnt agree to it. otherwise wtf is the point of the contract ?If you outperform a contract, should you not have the right to change or adjust it? We are talking about sports contract which are adjusted all the time.

Revenue doesn’t always equate to popularity. Women’s soccer is more popular than the men even as they don’t bring the same revenue. Notice the hype surrounding the women compared to the men during World Cup time.

Christian Pulisic is making millions for US Soccer,Chelsea and NBC there isn’t a female player driving that kind of machine
Gio Reyna and Bundesliga kids are set up to do the same for ESPN and Borussia Dortmund ,RB Leipzig and etc
A young American male player is a golden ticket
no woman player is going to come close to that
