Driver is a dumb fukk, if they don't compete on pricing lyft or something else will take them out.
looks like it was published today these guys stay walking into mine fields

I honestly don't even know what company they remind me of anymore. A lot of this is self inflicted.

whats wild is that just like Groupon, Uber ain't exclusive enough to not face competition.

You'd really think some of these companies would find a way to create and own a niche. There was almost a direct competitor overnight.

If they race to the bottom everybody loses. CEO has to develop a way to demonstrate value of those higher prices
No everyone doesn't lose, majority win, the customers.
These guys are trying to fix rates no different than the taxi cab monopolies.
Fact of the matter is you want stability get a skill that allows you to get that, driving a car or manual labor jobs don't provide that.

The CEO is back there with what looks like two "OMG the UBER CEO' Sillicon Valley club rats lecturing about competition and personal responsibility. I'm guessing typical SV CEO, white privileged background, prestigious education....It's pretty reprehensible, but a reflection of our country and values all the same, which makes it that much more sickening. I'met dozens of guys in Uber in the same exact spot as the driver in the video, totally underwater, faced with more and more Uber drivers everyday, constantly driving down the price.

*sidenote: the CEO really uses Uber himself, that's bizarre, and a recipe for these kinds of 'exposals'.

If they price themselves out of business the customer loses. So far only Lyft has got traction as a competitor and they are in trouble too.
