Article just mentioned 2 people but seems like first buddy just doesn’t want to ride with a human being and is never in a hurry to go anywhere (spending an hour canceling a ride defeats the purpose of getting somewhere in a specific amount of time ).


Second guy had a legit reason it seems like… dude finds it cheaper than a regular Uber. That I can understand, but eventually these greedy ass companies are going to up the price on it if it ever becomes in demand like that.


So idk if this will be an issue for drivers or actually replace them. And then they still say it’s best to avoid highways and interstates… which I expect it to be so at the moment.


Then there’s still delivery drivers, so I would say there will be extra competition but idk if it will be enough to replace anything. I think taxis are still relevant in cities like NY no?
