Don't know what the fukk Rogan is talking about, that was a one way beat down Khabib was never in any trouble
Agreed. My issue is more so that he was never in any trouble...and he also showed some holes and some weaknesses. Some of that is probably due to the opponent change. Some of that is inherent with how optimized his grappling skill set is at the expense of some others.

Yeah, Khabib's striking didn't look great but he pretty much controlled the fight from start to finish and looked no worse for wear :ehh:

I really wish we could have been watching him fight Tony tonight though :francis:. Taking Connor out of the equation (who knows what will happen with him), he is really the only one at LW that makes sense for Khabib to fight. Yet, he's injured for how long and they will be reluctant to book the fight again. It has to happen eventually though.

Iaquinta is a wrestler, first of all. The fact that he looked like he wasn’t is a testament to Khabib’s game. Secondly, he was in a really low stance so that he could try to avoid getting taken down, which is why his boxing was so ineffective and he was getting lit up with the jabs. I’m curious as to what Rogan would say about Tony or Conor who would be getting thoroughly outwrestled by Al if they were in Khabib’s place tonight.

Khabib got exposed winning a 50-43 decision but Conor hasn't been exposed going 1-1 with journeyman Nate Diaz and his 1 win being a majority decision? :mindblown:
Iaquinta is just as bad of a matchup for Khabib as Nate was for Conor. The difference is...well you saw.

How the hell is he a bad matchup for khabib? Only thing is he got heart and didn’t completely wilt
Let’s see, he’s a good wrestler with good boxing and power in his hands. On paper, that should be Khabib’s kryptonite. Watch some of his other fights, for real. People see motherfukkers get totally shut down and dominated by Khabib and think they’re just bums. Guaranteed Al gives both Conor and Tony issues, especially in the grappling department.

woodley been on tape saying he dont want no hands with khabib
honestly hes just saying that to hype a money fight. He knows for a fact that hes a much better version of Iaquinta. Woodley has powerful KO power and elite wrestling. Would be similar to the Iaquinta fight but Khabib wouldn't land takedowns as easy and if he stood up with Woodley, he'd be KTFO. Plus Khabib is usually bigger than his opponents, Woodley walks around at 205 and fight night is legit 190+. Theres a pic of him after the weigh ins showing his scale and he was legit 188lbs. Not sure what time of day it was.
