I thought going in this was gonna be another Merab steamroll, they mentioned in the pre-fight Yan injured his right hand in the first fight so he couldn't use it, but he came into this one fully healthy and prepared for the takedowns, and left Merab's face bloodied up and hurt his body with kicks. Some close calls when Merab caught him with a few guillotines, but an otherwise great fight

He probably means he's unlucky. Kape has many canceled fights and he's responsible for a good number of them for either missing weight, injury or testing positive.

Damn that was a good ass main event. Petr Yan put on a take down defense master class. I even liked the elbows to the forearm, rd 3 and 4 they looked useless but Merab would move every time. Then in round 4 he starts incorporating leg kicks. Definitely one of those fights to watch again and again.
