International rules apply, if you can't defend your country by yourself then you need to be absorbed.
Ukraine needs to be under Russia.

Russia is getting stuffed so bad they're forced to go scorched earth. The only play they have is to just stand off and level cities then hope Ukraine gives up.
And who is this dude talking about vassal states? Ukraine was doing better the further from Russia they got. Russia couldn't handle another former satellite state getting a western come up.
At some point a hard decision will have to be made: do we continue financing Ukraine’s defense against its invader, or do we let her fend for herself even if it means an all but certain defeat to Russia.
The American people did not sign up for this.

My point is that we have proven ineffective when we go to war with countries whose sole identity is to oppose Western Ideology. Its not as simple as removing the leader. I mean the fact that we are still dealing with this afterwards the collapse USSR should tell you all that you need to know. No American lives or DOLLARS need be wasted.
Also, no one here has even mentioned republicans, so you can take your bootlicking rhetoric elsewhere.
It's part of the defense budget, nikkas wasn't going to see any of this money anyways.

We are not at war.
American govt is funding a country that is at war and the country we are funding is winning.
No American lives have been lost.
No American money has been wasted, American foreign policy is getting an epic return on investment.
Of course we are still dealing with the aftershocks of the USSR, the USSR was the world's #2 superpower a mere 30 years ago. For reference, the aftershocks of the collapse of the British Empire lasted 50+ years, the aftershocks of Spanish Empire collapse lasted over a century.
