that's what's up. I was chatting with a female friend of mine who's also looking to get into real estate investing. I really think that area around the Dome/New Stadium got a lot of potential. I agree that black folks need to buy more areas like that before it gets gentrified like other parts of the city have been.
Vine City (the area you're referencing) is enticing but I'm thinking more about the hoods I grew up in (Cascade Heights area down to Cascade Ave/Ralph David Abernathy). There's a local financing arm in the city run by the city with Invest Atlanta that has money available to renovate challenged economic areas in Atlanta (the empowerment zone). There's a ton of opportunity for renovation and rebirth in those areas and it's in OUR community
interesting. any quick advice for someone wanting to start a podcast?I own and operate an internet radio station ( www.BYNKRadio.com )

Always supporting fellow people in the blog/podcast world.![]()
good shyt. i just dont know what id talk about. im not sure what to to start with. i was thinking doing a 5 minute demo to of just my background to get a feel for what itd be like.Do. That. Ish.
Start up costs are only the cost of your recording equipment (which could be as small as a Logitech audio head set), editing software (Audacity is free), and some place upload the podcast for stream or download.
Podcasting is a slow grind, unless you're a celebrity (like Charlamagne), are backed by a big podcast network (like Taxstone), or were in the game near the very beginning (like Solomonster), you're probably not getting big views very quickly. Its a labor of love that especially helps people who have something else that can use to help cross promo their podcast with with an artist, like if you were an artists or author using your podcast to increase your brand awareness.

On the real if y'all trying to invest some bread into real estate in Atlanta I'm down. If y'all serious about getting some properties, let me know.
Yea my vision is a little bit different beyond just owning properties. Ideally I'd like to partner with groups like Invest Atlanta, Westside Works, HJ Russell & other community partners to redevelop whole communities on the west side, re zone them from residential to mixed use and rebuild those communities. I'd only want properties as far as using them to completely redevelop that community. So yea that's what I'd like to do...I'm looking for people with that kinda vision
