That actually sounds like a good idea. I can't think of too many IT personalities off hand. Fitness, consumer tech, gaming, those all have gotten saturated. But IT seems like one that you could make some waves in.

Yeah I think so too. I'm gonna start with IT because that's what I know but ultimately it'll be a channel about career advice. I'm not really sure how I'd monetize the site but I can at least make money on YouTube ads. My goal is to build an audience then figure out how I'm going to make money off of it.

I jumped off the cliff so to speak two years ago...i worked in corporate for 5 years and got fired and it left a bad taste in my mouth (no homo), I was collecting unemployment and just chilling really until i stumbled on a hustle that i now turned into a business....it took me a year and some change to come up with the idea and put it in motion.....We've been open here for two weeks now and have already done over 13 grand in sales.....I started a sneaker store named Fresh Pair Sneakers, here in Tyler, Tx......man, im a prime example that you can achieve anything that you set your mind too...

Do you work out of a rented studio or one you built in home?

What were your start up costs?

How do you generate your revenue? I'm guessing through advertisers. I used to work for a small AM radio station and it got me interested in the business.

We have two locations one is in my home in the Midwest. The other is in the Southeast. Our infrastructure is replicate across multiple VMs globally.

What were your start up costs?
Initially we spent about 10k getting legal, getting equipment, setting up a site, copyrights, infrastructure, etc.

How do you generate your revenue?

That's proprietary...:scheme:

I will say we have advertisers and multiple streams of revenue tho.

Of the 50+ books I've read in the last couple of years:

-'Richest man in Babylon' provides you with a financial foundation that is absolutely necessary for a business owner.

-Millionaire Fastlane by MJ Demarco is the Bible. Find the forum and you've found gold. This book will give you the basis upon which your business will be built.

-After you've found your idea you can test it with Pat Flynn's book 'Will It Fly"

-Once the business is built customers will come flocking-not really but that's where Gary Halbert's 'The Baron Letters' come in. This guy is hardcore somewhat racist but he was a marketing genius. It's a book of gems that he wrote for his son.

But don't read too much. I would be much further along if I hadn't read 46 books too many. fukk all that just go build something.

Grind grind grind. Eat healthy, exercise daily, work on your business first thing in the morning when you're fresh. Get organized. Keep a daily journal. I'll share my project once I get it rolling a little better. -Safe is Risky

:salute: that's what's up. I was chatting with a female friend of mine who's also looking to get into real estate investing. I really think that area around the Dome/New Stadium got a lot of potential. I agree that black folks need to buy more areas like that before it gets gentrified like other parts of the city have been.
