So right after a college coach melted down in epic fashion in jacksonville there is a story about another college coach who could make the jump to the nfl :mjlol:

Last time this dude coached in the NFL there were non black people who actually LIKED Kap :mjlol:

He was inches away from winning a Super Bowl with the 9ers, I always figured he was gonna scratch that itch and come back at some point.

Harbaugh has a 70% winning percentage in the NFL and went to the conference championship 3 out of his 4 years :dwillhuh:

Calling him 'another college coach' is incredibly reductive

That was a brutal loss, people remember the Crabtree no call on 4th down but if you watch the play over, Vernon Davis was breaking his route off in the middle and was gonna be wide open, Ray Lewis was moving around like a mummy and he wasn't gonna get there in time

That was 7 years ago. Do you think the nfl landscape is like it was 7 years ago? Do you think offensive and defensive schemes are the same? I don't.

Who is the team that will be like "you know what will make us better? Bringing in a coach who hasn't coached grown men who are millionaires with guaranteed salaries in 7 years. Get Jim on the phone."

This whole thing is hilarious to me. Dude got Michigan to the college football playoffs ONE TIME...got blown out to the point of it not even mattering that they showed up...they legit lost this game in the first 7 minutes...and now its like "welp my job is done time to go to the nfl":russ:

Thank goodness Jerry's stuck with Big Mac Mike and The Toddler Kellen:wow:

Harbaugh has been successful at every stop and it's not like 7 years is 20 years ago. This isn't the Redskins bringing back Joe Gibbs. He's coached pros very successfully before.

I'm pretty sure Jim has a good pipeline for pro assistants. I hear his brother is a pretty good coach in the NFL :unimpressed:

Are ppl in here really tryna say Jim isn’t a good coach? Or “just a college coach?”

Is he Pete Carroll or Jimmy Johnson? No, but he’s proven he can succeed in the nfl and do so at a much higher success rate than Saban and Urban.
