my mom says the same, you can be dead right. but id rather be dead right than to live wrongSometimes you gotta pick your battles. Its not always about being right.. this is about survival and a lot of folks get caught up on trying to be right as if the courts ever give blacks a fair trial. The deal is messed up but the end result is a dismissed charge so he should take it since he doesnt have the money for a proper defense.
Besides you should not be able to walk up on someone in plain clothes and try to tell them what to do/arrest them unless you're undercover and that person affects, or is your specific target!!!! That was my main gripe with this whole situation...
How does this happen on a subway in NY. From whay you hear in rap and see in movies, this should never happen. Maybe that was then. Im from TX and I couldnt see that happening in my neighborhood if we were in a place as densely compacted as the subway and surrounding the cop already. Matter ov fact, a friend of mine went to court for questioning why an officer was arresting a man and the friend had grass on him, he gave 0 fuxx tho. This happens very frequently in NYC. Plain clothes officers never announce that they're cops or give any indication that they're cops. They just literally walk up to black people in the subway and say, "put your hands behind your back" and while driving to the precinct they just make up a charge (this happened to my friend).

Nah, I can believe it. I read an article where NYPD shot at an innocent black man in his 40s, missed and hit another innocent person, then sued the black man because he caused them to shoot and miss. Another report where a NYPD backed into a mans car and when the black man got out to confront the NYPD, he tried to take him to jail for defacing public property but luckily it was on camera.
