Surf's restraint after the 1st remix should be praised.
The bottom half of Holla's 3rd was cringe worthy

True, but he will never battle him.
Two observations:
1. Having watched the battle and thinking back to the pre-reactions on this forum makes me realize how many nikkas in here already have a preferred outcome.
2. Surf was on point in every round. Despite everyones' romantic lust for Holla's first rounds, I think Surf's first was dead even (first watch). Surf's second was fukking incredible. His third wasn't as insane to me (only one watch so far) mainly because it felt like he sacrificed too much of his flow to do something similar to what Aye Verb does.

Off first watch this battle was extremely average. This nikka Hitman had so many cringeworthy bars

Hitman had a cool 1st round but that was about it. He was reachin like crazy and surf wasn't that much better either. Surfs 1st was cool and his 3rd was just
Ok. That preaching angle is od at this point.
Hitman should not have brought up that same tired angle of "what happened in Detroit" how many times are nikkaz gonna use that angle
Battle was overhyped and both of these nikkaz came up short imo.
Funny how Hitman was the one reaching.
Surf wasn't preaching in his 3rd. It was more of a compare/contrast angle.This battle overall wasn't worth the hype and definitely isn't a classic. I blame Holla because Surf was consistent.
So the guy who won the battle and was on point all 3 rounds didn't have any highlights but the loser who had dry spots had all of them

Hitman is probably the only battle rapper in URL who can have a huge fall off mid-round. The last half of his third round was awful.
