Naw, he's right. He has been on Barça's radar for a minute and the club has pubically acknowledged this. The Iniesta era is over even though they gave them that BS lifetime contract. The questions are how much will Barça have to pay to get him and does Pulisic want to play in Spain? Barça needs him the most, Real could be petty and buy him just so Barca doesn't get him. Really, Atletico Madrid could use him, but they are a selling club, so they would never pay the amount it would take to get him. Pulisic, unlike the rest of the USMNT, is ready because he has been playing in a Big 5 league for a team that is generally playing for European hardware. Not much more difference playing for Barça than Dortmund.

Yeah, every team in CONCACAF that has players in MLS has gotten better, EXCEPT FOR THE USMNT! I noticed this last cycle when MEXICO came within 2 goals in 2 minutes of playing in the playoff for Rio (they would of qualified, but Mexico needing a playoff was laughable). I also said that the U.S. would not qualify for Russia if they kept playing the way they started in qualifying.... and that happened too.
He doesn’t play Iniesta’s position:dwillhuh:

He would play Dembele’s position so he would be on the bench

Barcelona will almost certainly replace Iniesta with a Spaniard.

He could go to a big 6 club in England

Do y'all think a COMNEBOL and CONCACAF. Merger would be beneficial? And would that be fair to the rest of CONCACAF?:jbhmm:
Maybe 8.5 spots for this pan American merger:jbhmm:
It probably would but they’ll never do it.

It would force progress though.

Because it's utterly ridiculous . Pukisic could MAYBE go to a Man U or a big club in England. Barca and Real is laughable

Actually, it's not laughable. It's not like Barça is a 100% Tiki-Taka team anymore. His club performances have been stellar and as far as his international matches, the Costa Rica match was his only terrible match because CR is smart enough to see that if you take away Pulisic, then the US attack is toothless. Bradley is shyt in attack 9 times out of 10 and he's a defensive liability in defense, which is why Pjanic easily took his spot at Roma and he came back to MLS for money he was making in Europe and guaranteed playing time. Passing laterally and backwards is Bradley's best skills.

Lastly, I'm an American.... a black one at that. My footy knowledge rivals many of the Euros on this board, so spare me that "Americans don't know soccer/football" BS.

the question is lets say this merged confederation gets 8 places...does the US even qualify?:hubie:assuming the big names qualify: Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia. Then the likes of Peru, Paraguay, Chile, Ecuador. That's 8 teams that i'm not sure the US could even beat.:hubie:Plus Mexico? and trips to the Andean nations?

Barça replacing Iniesta with a Spaniard is probably the only reason that he wouldn't go... but Barça has openly shown (tempered) interest in Pulisic, so....

thats the point. Force these nikkas to get better. With the current conference were in, we just gonna stay mediocre because thats all it takes to qualify. If USA constantly misses the WC, they will have no choice but to make moves.

It's not happening.... EVER! Bolivia, Peru, ect. don't want the extra competition and the extra mouths to feed although it would be a soccer lover's dream to see the merger.

Seriously chaps, they need to dissolve CONCACAF.:jbhmm:

Merge it in to CONMEBOL.

I understand why UEFA tries to stack the deck in the Champions League to perpetuate growth in smaller nations, but there's no credible reason the same should happen in international football.

You mean to tell me we have Panama at the World Cup finals while Gareth Bale sits at home? Madness.:hhh:

We potentially have Honduras there while the likes of Luka Modric still might not make it? It's a scandal, guys.:picard:

There is literally one nation in CONCACAF of any worth, Mexico, and even then they're an average team. It just makes no sense.

It's like allowing San Marino, Andorra, Kosovo, Cyprus, Gibralta and Malta to have their own group in Europe to see who gets there.

Bale and Modric play for crap teams. That's why they will be home.

And please lets not act like UEFA isnt full of mostly garbage teams.

Unless Germany, Belgium, Spain, France, England(I'm being generous here) and Italy were in your group. You had a chance to qualify.

And if you couldn't even manage a playoff spot. Its because you are shiit.

Edit*

I didn't look at who made the post

I don't know why you including the bolded and i don't care.

Pulisic is talented but lets stop thinking every American with talent is going to be the next Zidane or Ronaldo. The top teams scout all the best prospects. Real Madrid and Barcelona basically can sign any top talents. In five years, the likes of Isco, Theo, Casemiro, Ceballos, Kovacic and Asensio are likely to be in their peaks or still in their peaks. Man U is a possibility due him being American.
