Actually, it's not laughable. It's not like Barça is a 100% Tiki-Taka team anymore. His club performances have been stellar and as far as his international matches, the Costa Rica match was his only terrible match because CR is smart enough to see that if you take away Pulisic, then the US attack is toothless. Bradley is shyt in attack 9 times out of 10 and he's a defensive liability in defense, which is why Pjanic easily took his spot at Roma and he came back to MLS for money he was making in Europe and guaranteed playing time. Passing laterally and backwards is Bradley's best skills.

Lastly, I'm an American.... a black one at that. My footy knowledge rivals many of the Euros on this board, so spare me that "Americans don't know soccer/football" BS.

I agree with you. I felt like TnT used that strategy against the US last night. They may not have the technique to beat Pulisic 1-on-1 but collectively they are athletic enough to disrupt his play.

I say this as a legit peak euro-snob:

You finally got one:whoa:

I mean, he was nurtured in Europe, meaning it only serves to further shine a light on your dismal youth system, but you got one:whoa:

Remains to be seen what happens when he does eventually move, might not be that next level, but he will 100% move to a bigger club at some stage.

True, basketball is my #1 sport...what made you pick the Knicks as a team?

Long story short, when I was a kid I lived a couple years in New Rochelle. Too young to be interested in sports, but my pops videotaped tons of Knicks games (more less from 85 to 88) so when we moved to Central African Republic I ended up watching those old team with Ewing, Cartwrright, Newman, Jackson, etc...plus how we played back home was basically tough/in your face, like the 90s Knicks...fast forward to 93 and The Dunk and it was a wrap lol

Did dude with the locs actually say pull talent from the women's side?!:mindblown: this is one of the main reasons why we're struggling because of us not taking it serious. And twellman is right we can't get anywhere if we don't apply pressure to the players like we do in other sports nation wide.this is so frustrating:snoop:

So who is the next man up? Cause right now it sounds like the US is about to hang every hope on Pulisic. Which is crazy because Pulisic is only that good because his father/family are deeply entrenched in the sport. You're not going to get that again.

United States men's national under-17 soccer team - Wikipedia Who on that squad is worth a nickel?

Do you have to be super athletic to excel at soccer? Maybe more minorities need to pick the game up.

As stated, the problem with USA soccer isn't the athletic ability(though our best athletes don't play the sport, that is valid). Our kids aren't getting world class training at a young enough age. That's the problem. Once you fix that, everything else will fall into place.
