3rd watch and as people have said time and time again this battle is all about what style of battle rap you prefer. Im sticking with 2-1 lux but hollow has to be the first guy to make lux look human. What a fukking battle.

The fact that Lux is considered a legend and his best bars don't fall into the crutch of "2 hammers on my waist..." blah blah blah.. shyt is amazing though.

Don't get me wrong, shyt is cool in a battle setting but some dudes RELY on that gun shyt too heavy.

Personally, I can't watch this battle again because I think the shyt is BORING as hell. Lux 2-1 but he got LAZY as hell, came with some wack black panther outfit and used the EXACT same format as the Calicoe battle. Makes no sense. UW did a great job, but I'd rather see it on URL, more organized. But if they aren't going to pay up, I don't blame Lux. It's a business, I'd be the same way.

lux put that work on that boy last night got damn!! that 3rd round got damn holla was hurtin out there. that boy was leakin. lux 1st started off fire but holla came with the rebut game n scaved him to the white meat n made him come up out that van halen. i got to give holla that 1st just off principle the rebuttals jokes bars schemes etc had me more in the 1st even tho lux was spittin that heat. the 2nd lux stepped it up n hollow fell down some notches n was damn near on 1 of them kshine/xfactor priority level rounds. he started drying up. hollow lost some of that bite. it was a crazy battle tho. cant wait for another of that magnitude just who tho

Trust, Lux is losing whatever battle he takes next. Hollow basically gave everyone the blueprint now. Before this, nobody had any clue about how to battle and beat Lux...think about it, X-Factor started, but Verb perfected the current trend of talkin to a nikka in your third round. Now it seems like damn near everybody doin it.

I guarantee you anyone battling Lux will take the same approach that Hollow took and probably be even more vicious with it. I mean I hate Clips but right now I can see him beating Lux pretty easily off that shyt.

I'm kinda surprised that there was no mention of the altercation with TODD that happened last year. Guess it just didn't fit in either of their game plans

Watched it 3 times and I've been going back and forth on who won. Great battle. Would like to see hollow vs clips for a main event next. I'd pay 15 or more for that depending on who's on the card.

Edit: lux brought the altercation up in his first hollow in the third. I just missed it but I was expecting a name flip or some kind being that it was with the otha da don

You obviously don't follow battle rap because if you did you would know that URL is one of the most unorganized and unprofessional leagues out. If URL would have did this same card Lux vs Hollow wouldnt have started until midnight. And if you say this battle was boring you might as well just say you don't fukk with battle rap, period.

The problem with your theory is

1) Almost no battle rapper has the bars/humor of Hollow. If they try the same thing, they will fail miserably. Only Clips has a chance to do it and make it work

2) A lot of Hollow's firepower came from his rebuttals, something most others can't do at all, and almost nobody does it as well as Hollow

Pretty good battle. I like Hollow's style better so I'm a bit biased.

Lux did well too. His delivery is gawdly. If Hollow could work on his voice and delivery he'd be unstoppable.


This is weird but I can't call a winner. So I say its a tie.
